Job summary

GRC Careers, LLC is seeking an experienced Compliance Leader to oversee AML/CFT and regulatory governance for an online trading platform operating internationally. You will interpret evolving regulations, review policies, and drive continuous improvement across multiple workstreams while engaging with senior management and regulators.

The role emphasizes autonomous work, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering robust compliance programs suitable for a rapidly expanding digital assets

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of compliance experience in financial services, online trading or brokerage.
• Strong ability to interpret financial regulation and AML/CFT frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to engage with regulators.
• CySEC Advanced Certification, or willingness to obtain during probation.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Monitoring Analysis: stay up to date with changes and interpret their impact.
• Policy and Procedure Review: verify alignment with regulations and best practices.
• Compliance Monitoring Program: conduct AML and regulatory reviews and address issues.
• Complaints Handling: investigate and resolve client complaints and regulatory cases.
• Compliance Enquiries: respond to inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: collect data and present KPIs to senior management.
• Risk Assessment: identify regulatory risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Regulatory Impact Analysis: determine breach/incidence/reportability and reasoning.
• Support Product Governance: assist with product approvals and disclosures.
• Due Diligence: provide information to service providers conducting due diligence.
• Compliance Support and Approvals: advise departments and review communications.
• External Support: coordinate with authorities/auditors during audits.
• Training and Awareness: develop compliance training programs for employees.
• Continuous Improvement: optimize monitoring processes and implement solutions.
• Task Management Proportionality: balance strategic oversight with operations.
• Legal: maintain collaboration with legal.
