Job summary

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) seeks a Compliance Analyst III to evaluate residential childcare provider credentialing and ensure adherence to Texas Child Centered Care rules. This senior role conducts complex reviews, analyzes data, and coordinates with a third-party contractor to credential or credential upgrades for service packages.

Qualifications

• Experience in research, compliance analysis or monitoring, legal analysis, and/or auditing work.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business administration, public administration, finance, accounting, computer science, statistical analysis, mathematics, research methodology, or a related field.
• Experience and education may be substituted for one another.

Responsibilities

• Performs credentialing compliance reviews for organizations across the foster care continuum to ensure service packages meet requirements.
• Maintains and updates data in internal tracking systems and ensures proper logging of documentation.
• Conducts internal inspections of documentation to improve credentialing processes and efficiency.
• Verifies compliance with regulations through desk and on-site reviews and collaborates with third-party contractors.
