The full salary range reflects the competitive market value for similar positions nationwide and offers opportunities for growth as employees develop within the role. Auto State Management Compliance Analyst Role

This is a range posting. The level of the position offered will depend on skills and experience, at the manager's discretion.

Under limited supervision, performs moderate to complex compliance research and regulatory analysis to support business objectives in assigned states or product lines. May oversee projects requiring greater expertise, especially for states with higher regulatory scrutiny or volume. Provides recommendations for improvements and collaborates with the Director of State Operations (DSO) and other team members for the assigned region.

  1. Lead projects of moderate to high complexity to ensure compliance with statutes and regulations, establishing clear success metrics, informing stakeholders, and meeting deadlines.
  2. Serve as an expert and respond to compliance-related inquiries for assigned states or areas of expertise.
  3. For complex regulatory states, conduct and document research for nationwide program rollouts.
  4. Utilize various resources to conduct compliance research, compile information, assess current approaches, and document learnings.
  5. Assist in developing handling strategies for escalated issues and regulator interactions.
  6. Monitor proposed and enacted legislation and regulations, identify business impacts, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize outcomes.
  7. Support risk mitigation through issues management and control promotion.
  8. Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  9. If needed, lead, mentor, and support new team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Finance, Economics) or Legal/Political Science/Insurance, with preferred experience in quantitative analysis.
  • Approximately 3 to 5 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance principles and concepts required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
  • Effective communication skills for report writing, proposals, and presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and lead projects and teams.
