Job summary

The University of South Carolina seeks a Senior Compliance Analyst to ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulatory requirements. This role conducts monitoring and research of compliance matters and implements applicable policies within the University Controller's Office.

Candidates should have strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, fiscal management, and the ability to analyze complex financial data.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, theories, and terminology of accounting, budgeting, and fiscal management.
  • Knowledge of federal/state fiscal accounting processes and regulatory matters.
  • Understanding higher education and state government fiscal accounting processes.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and reports.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem-solve and research effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbal and written.

  • Implement applicable policies within the University Controller's Office.
