SENIOR COMPLIANCE ANALYST

$100-135k | REMOTE

Global non-profit organization is looking to expand their Governance, Risk & Compliance team by hiring a Senior Compliance Analyst. This person will be the 2nd hire to a new team, with a wide scope of areas to make an impact and grow into for the future.

Purpose of the Role: This person will work cross-functionally with product teams, development/engineering teams, business/operations teams, and potentially external clients. This person will create policies and procedures, drive projects and assessments of security controls, run audits and risk assessments at an organizational and technical level. This person will bridge the communication between those driving technology and those driving the big picture mission.

Candidate Profile: This person should have domain experience, having been hands on as part of a compliance team or information security team. They must have clear communication skills, both verbal and written. They should be passionate about compliance, be detail oriented and have experience reading government regulations and cross referencing them.

Requirements:

• Hands on experience with at least one of the following frameworks - HIPAA regulation, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171.
• Non-profit experience, i.e. higher education, academia, research, federal or federal adjacent.
• Must have an academic degree (Associates, Bachelors, etc.).
• 5+ years of work experience.
