Job summary

OptumCare is seeking a Complex Care Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join our Denver, CO team. You will conduct wellness visits, occasionally perform home visits for high-risk patients, and work within OptumCare EMR systems.

Approximately 85% travel within the Denver market, interfacing professionally with physicians and staff, and engaging in ongoing education to stay current with medical advances and coding practices. Comprehensive benefits and a $15k sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted APRN or PA license in Colorado.
• Prescribing authority, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license or access to reliable transportation to Denver metro area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wellness visits for Optum members.
• Possible home visits for high-risk patients.
• Work within OptumCare EMR systems during wellness visits.
• Approximately 85% daily travel within Denver market.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to build credibility.
