Job summary

Optum is seeking a Complex Care Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA) to join our Colorado Springs team. This role involves wellness visits, EMR use, and extensive travel within the Colorado Springs market to partner with IPA physicians.

Required Colorado APRN/PA license with prescriptive authority; geriatrics or family care experience preferred. We offer a competitive salary with benefits and a $15k sign-on bonus. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado APRN or PA license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Prescribing authority or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Family, geriatrics, or adult care experience.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to CO Springs area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wellness visits for Optum members in clinics or care facilities.
• Work within OptumCare EMR systems during wellness visits.
• Travel approximately 85% within the Colorado Springs market.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop credible care plans.
• Document assessments and plans of care; review chronic conditions and risk adjustments.
