Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Compiler Engineer to help build the next generation of intelligent compiler technologies for the accelerator stack. You will work at the intersection of compilers, AI systems, numerical correctness, and verification to enable robust code transformations across software and hardware boundaries.

You will design and build advanced compiler and verification systems, develop compiler-oriented agents and workflows, and collaborate with CUDA, library, runtime, and hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field; MS/PhD preferred.
• 5+ years in compilers, AI systems, numerical computing, verification, or HPC.
• Strong hands-on experience in compiler implementation, program analysis, code generation, optimization, or correctness infrastructure.
• Experience in agent systems, compiler automation, numerical analysis, or formal validation methods.
• Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills; Rust is a plus.
• Experience with GPU programming and CUDA or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize intelligent low-level compiler systems, including multi-step transformations and tooling.
• Develop systems that reason about IR, code generation, optimization, scheduling, numerical precision, and performance tradeoffs for GPU workloads.
• Build data, environments, verification, reward, and evaluation systems to improve compiler quality and numerical correctness.
• Develop infrastructure for numerical validation, differential testing, regression detection, and correctness verification for generated code.
• Co-design compiler and verification workflows across NVIDIA's software stack with models, pipelines, runtimes, libraries, kernels, and GPUs.
• Collaborate with internal teams across CUDA, library, runtime, and hardware to integrate capabilities into NVIDIA products.
• Drive performance analysis and optimization for generated or transformed code with a focus on correctness and scalability.
