Job summary

Saxon Global is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to deliver strategic compensation consulting and advisory services to clients in Chicago. You will partner with senior management to develop compensation strategies, address attraction and retention needs, and deliver innovative, technology-enabled solutions.

The role requires strong compensation expertise, exceptional client relationship skills, and the ability to lead complex projects while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in compensation consulting or related HR advisory roles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and complex client engagements.
• Deep knowledge of compensation technology, market analysis methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong client relationship management, with experience advising senior executives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Structure, direct, review, and interpret analyses performed by project teams.
• Develop compensation strategies, philosophies, and programs addressing attraction and retention.
• Advise senior management on pay strategy, structure, and competitiveness.
• Embrace AI and technology-enabled tools to enhance compensation solutions.
• Manage day-to-day client interactions and build long-term relationships.
• Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members to ensure quality deliverables.
• Generate revenue by expanding engagements and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
