Ameriprise Financial seeks a Senior Compensation Operations Analyst to support global compensation programs. You will partner with Compensation, HRBPs, Payroll, and Finance to ensure accurate, efficient processes during annual cycles, incentives, and governance.

The role requires 3+ years in Compensation or HR Operations, strong data validation and Excel skills, and experience handling confidential information in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Compensation, Compensation Operations, HR Operations, Payroll Operations, HRIS, or related functions.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data validation, reconciliation, reporting, and problem-solving.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience handling confidential information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute large-scale, global annual compensation processes including merit, incentive, and year-end compensation activities.
  • Perform data validation, audits, reconciliations, and quality reviews to ensure compensation accuracy.
  • Partner with Compensation, HR Systems, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to administer compensation programs and resolve issues.
  • Support compensation system testing, UAT activities, and process enhancements.

In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
