Columbia Bank in Fair Lawn, NJ is seeking a Compensation Manager to lead all compensation programs including equity and deferred compensation. You will guide strategy to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance while partnering with HR partners and bank leaders.

The role covers compensation management, performance incentives, equity programs (ESOP), reporting/analytics, leadership collaboration, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of compensation experience, including program management.
• Experience with ADP is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and administration of broad-based compensation programs.
• Maintain pay structures and market pricing using salary surveys.
• Conduct compensation research, analytics, and modeling.
• Recommend enhancements and automation to improve processes.
• Develop documentation for HR partners and leaders.
• Lead job evaluation, benchmarking, and pricing activities.
• Manage commission plans and payroll calculations.
• Administer merit and incentive programs.
• Administer equity and deferred compensation programs (ESOP).
• Design reporting, analytics, and scenario analyses for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
