Job summary

Columbia Bank New Jersey is seeking a Compensation Manager to lead broad-based compensation programs, equity and deferred compensation, and ensure internal equity and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with HR and business leaders to drive merit and incentive programs, oversee ESOP/RSU administration, and deliver analytics, dashboards, and process improvements across compensation functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of compensation experience, including program management.
• Experience with ADP is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and administration of broad-based compensation programs.
• Maintain pay structures and market pricing using salary surveys and benchmarking tools.
• Conduct compensation research, analytics, and modeling to support total rewards strategies.
• Develop process documentation and resources for HR partners and leaders.
• Manage equity and deferred compensation programs, including RSAs/ESOPs and related plans.
• Oversee reporting, compliance, and analytics for compensation programs.
