University of Missouri - Columbia is seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist to support the Compensation team. You will oversee the compensation request inbox, manage classification and evaluation projects, and collaborate with HR leaders to ensure accurate pay structures.

The role emphasizes logging work requests, updating job descriptions, maintaining job codes, and producing reports for ongoing compensation initiatives. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with compensation projects, job evaluations, and classification
• Strong MS Excel skills and ability to present data clearly

Responsibilities

• Log and track incoming work requests and updates, maintain job code tables and pay matrices.
• Review and evaluate job descriptions and job questionnaires to support pay grading.
• Provide customer service and guidance to HR leaders and partners.
• Assist with salary structure updates, documentation, and roll-out of compensation initiatives.
