Job summary

Qualifications

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in compensation analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews jobs for slotting into the appropriate salary structure to ensure fairness and compliance with FLSA and other regulatory agencies.
  • Conducts market surveys and makes recommendations to salary ranges to ensure salaries remain competitive for recruitment and retention and meet the health system's compensation philosophy.
  • Partners with the HR Partners to provide results of compensation analysis of those impacted on paper or electronically when feasible to the payroll team.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations, including FLSA and equal pay laws.
  • Prepare and present detailed compensation reports and analyses to leadership, highlighting trends, variances, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in the development of compensation policies and procedures to promote consistency and transparency.
  • Ensures internal pay equity annually and makes recommendations for salary adjustments as appropriate.

Job Summary

Compensation
