Job summary

Northwestern University’s Mesulam Institute seeks a Sr. Communications Coordinator to lead communications projects for digital, print, and social media initiatives.

You will guide content strategy, manage editorial work, and coordinate in-house branding across internal NMHC/Feinberg channels and external partners. You will develop SEO-friendly web content, oversee campaigns, and supervise the Communications Intern while partnering with multiple university offices to raise visibility of research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of health care communications writing/editing experience.
• Experience designing for digital media in an academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Write and distribute patient/family e-newsletters.
• Design and distribute internal audience updates.
• Develop and expand contact lists across personnel/organizations.
• Manage Mesulam Institute social media: content, posts, calendar, campaigns.
