Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Houston seeks a Sr Communications Specialist to join Brand and Communications, translating business priorities into clear, audience-focused messages across internal and external channels.

You will build narratives for executive communications, media relations, digital and social channels, and events, requiring strong writing, storytelling, and disciplined project management in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, marketing communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years supporting internal communications, external communications, executive communications, media relations, social media, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience writing and editing content for multiple audiences and channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce high-quality content for internal articles, press releases, social media posts and byline articles.
• Ensure messaging and brand voice consistency across communications.
• Support internal communications initiatives and collaborate with HR to promote organizational changes and achievements.
• Assist in media relations activities and coordinate media inquiries for outreach.
• Develop social media content and analyze metrics to improve engagement.
• Support events such as town halls, product launches, trade shows, and community activities.
• Manage editorial calendar and results tracker.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in communications and public relations.
