Overview




DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Senior Communications/Signal Requirements Planner to join our team on an upcoming Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) J-3/5/7 Operations and Strategic Support contract based at DISA Headquarters, Fort Meade, MD and MacDill AFB, FL, with flexible telework options. This opportunity involves supporting DISA's J-3/5/7 Directorate, which directs and synchronizes the DISA Network (DISN) to enable Joint Cyberspace Operations. The contractor will contribute to operational planning, strategic initiatives, program assessment, and task order management across four major task areas. Responsibilities include developing cyber operation plans, supporting DISA planning groups, advising senior leaders, delivering key policy documents and assessments, coordinating strategic communications, and supporting governance processes.

This position offers remote work flexibility.






Duties & Responsibilities




    Supports enterprise-level strategic planning and organizational assessments.
  • Identifies gaps and develops recommendations for improving performance.
  • Prepares strategic roadmaps, planning documents, and executive reports.
  • Analyzes trends, policy impacts, and alignment with agency goals.
  • Leads or supports working groups and facilitates strategic sessions.
  • Develops performance metrics and supports implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Provides J-3/5/7 with subject matter expertise on strategic comms and signal requirements.
  • Coordinates with DISA HQ, Combatant Commands, and external stakeholders on current and future communication capabilities.
  • Tracks requests for service (RFS), communication gaps, and capability priorities.
  • Develops briefs, trackers, and assessments tied to DISA's support to Joint and Coalition Warfighters.
  • Supports strategic synchronization of capabilities across DISA's mission areas.
  • Provides input to governance forums related to communications infrastructure planning.





Qualifications




  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
