Job summary

Clean Air Task Force (CATF) seeks a Senior Associate, Communications and Marketing to support project coordination, content development, and media relations. This full-time, remote U.S.-based role offers Eastern Time alignment and occasional travel, with the chance to contribute to a global climate communications function.

You will draft and edit materials, manage brand resources, monitor media, and help maintain digital content while collaborating across Communications, Marketing and Events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related role.
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Experience with media monitoring and reporting analytics, media engagement, press list management, and CRM tools such as Muck Rack.
• Digital fluency and knowledge of project management platforms.
• Familiarity with website and social media content management and digital communications platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively within and across teams.
• Interest in and commitment to CATF’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications projects, meetings, shared resources, and tracking tools; prepare agendas; track action items; and help teams maintain clear and useful files and systems.
• Draft, proofread, and edit select press releases, reports, blogs, newsletters, and other communications, working with communications managers to maintain consistent, accurate content.
• Maintain internal communications resources, including style guides, templates, brand guidelines, onboarding materials, and communications and marketing training resources.
• Support media monitoring and reporting, maintain media lists and engagement records, and research relevant reporters and outlets in coordination with communications managers.
• Support social media marketing efforts and assist with maintaining website content and other digital communications as needed.
• Work across Communications and Marketing, Events, and other teams to coordinate work, maintain shared resources, and support effective follow-through.
