Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years of communications-related work experience required.
• AP Style knowledge preferred; writing assessment will be required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Viva Engage, Marketo or other email marketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication plans that support Ortho Tech Division priorities, employee engagement and People Leader initiatives in partnership with communications leaders, HR and other key stakeholders.
• Lead the editorial planning, content development, production, and distribution of Ortho Tech employee communications, including newsletters and division-wide channels.
• Partner with HR to develop clear, timely, and actionable employee communications, including organizational announcements and time-critical updates.
• Support the execution of change communications for division priorities and translate complex information for employees.
• Own and maintain the Ortho Tech editorial calendar, coordinating content and channels to align messaging and reduce fatigue.
• Manage Ortho Tech distribution lists and improve audience targeting and governance.
• Create, edit, and publish engaging content across channels (email, newsletters, Connect articles, presentations, leader communications).
• Serve as an Ortho Tech brand steward, reinforcing Stryker brand standards and messaging.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across Ortho Tech and business partners to guide audience and channel strategy.
• Support communications planning for priority division events, including sales meetings.
• Stay current on employee communication trends and pilot new approaches to improve reach and engagement.
