Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant communications experience in Congress, campaigns or a related political environment.
• Experience managing a communications team and coordinating messaging across offices.
• Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel to the Senator and staff on messaging, communication, and media relations.
• Liaise with legislative and state teams to ensure clear communication of the Senator’s efforts.
• Manage a communications team.
• Draft statements, press releases, op-eds, and speeches.
