Job summary

Aon Consumer Benefit Solutions is hiring for a Senior Communications Consultant in a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Hammonton, NJ office. Although we would prefer a candidate to work in a hybrid role, we are willing to consider a virtual work arrangement for a strong candidate.

What the day will look like

Senior Communications Consultants develop open enrollment communications campaigns for clients’ annual benefits enrollment periods. Materials range from posters and postcards to benefit guides, microsites, videos and more. A typical day includes 60% content development, 20% project management, and 20% client consulting. Responsibilities include:

• Attend client meetings and lead discussion of communications initiatives with a consultative approach creating engagement strategies based on client’s needs

• Manage various projects from start to finish while coordinating deadlines and prioritizing tasks for multiple projects with short turnaround times

How this opportunity is different

Senior Communications Consultants work autonomously as the communications subject matter experts for their clients. They manage open enrollment campaigns from design and content creation to distribution and web development. Yet they have the support of the full-service communications team including production, design, and web development. They also collaborate with Health Solutions and Account Management to tailor campaigns to meet clients’ needs and reach their employee populations.

Pay Transparency:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 to $85,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Hammonton, New Jersey. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
