Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a skilled writer and editor to elevate our communications across blogs, newsletters, websites, publications and social media. After training, the associate may work one day per week from home within the Greater Houston area.
Responsibilities include identifying storytelling opportunities, translating complex medical topics into engaging narratives, and advising leaders on messaging and content development.
Develops, contributes to and executes communications initiatives that elevate the visibility and reputation of Baylor College of Medicine.
Serves as a writer, editor and storyteller responsible for creating clear, compelling and audience-focused content across multiple channels, including blogs, newsletters, websites, publications, presentations and social media.
Collaborates with colleagues and institutional leaders to identify storytelling opportunities, translate complex topics into engaging narratives, and ensure consistent messaging that reflects Baylor College of Medicine’s brand, values and objectives.
After an initial training period, the associate will have the opportunity to work one day per week from home within the Greater Houston area. Occasional after-hours work may be required.
Candidates will be asked to provide writing samples as part of the interview process.
