Job summary

LinkedIn is seeking a Sr Commodity Manager / NPI lead based in Mountain View, CA, with a strong background in sourcing strategy for datacenter hardware. This hybrid role partners with engineering, capacity planning, finance, and OxMs to secure cost-effective, reliable hardware for LinkedIn’s expanding compute footprint.

You will drive allocations, negotiate LTAs, and influence architecture and vendor selection across CPU, GPU, DRAM, NAND, HDD, and related components while managing supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in commodity management, vendor management and hardware sourcing or supply chain for datacenter/enterprise
• Experience managing silicon, memory and storage components
• Background in silicon lifecycles, DRAM/NAND market dynamics and datacenter hardware architecture
• Background in negotiations and ability to manage executive level relationships
• Experience leading complex technical programs in compute, storage, or networking hardware
• Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to model cost, supply and risk tradeoffs
• Experience working with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and global production teams
