Job summary

Toray Advanced Composites (TAC) is seeking a senior Commodity Manager III to develop and execute the inventory strategy for Morgan Hill and Fairfield. You will partner with suppliers, train junior managers, and ensure on-time material delivery to support manufacturing with data-driven planning and ERP systems.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in commodity management or senior buying within composites/manufacturing, strong English communication, and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience as a Commodity Manager or Senior Buyer/Planner in manufacturing or composites.
• 1–3 years of training/management experience.
• Experience with ERP/supply demand planning software; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee raw material procurement for Morgan Hill and Fairfield sites.
• Ensure accurate min/max levels using data-driven methods.
• Manage supplier relationships and on-time delivery; expediting past due orders.
• Review contracts for supplier compliance; manage POs and bids.
• Provide monthly forecasts and coordinate Long-Term Agreements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and meet business needs.
