Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned Commissioning professional to lead end-to-end commissioning for new or retrofit facilities in Reston/ DC.

You will manage Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning, coordinate with architects, engineers, trade partners, and operations teams, and develop the QC plan, test scripts, and schedules.

The role requires deep knowledge of MEP systems, contract documents, and industry standards; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an accredited program with extensive construction experience in MEP roles.
• Minimum of 5 years of commissioning bridging field and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and codes.
• ASHRAE commissioning certification desired; familiarity with BMS and controls.
• Ability to interpret contract documents, owner requirements, plans and specs.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Commissioning activities from Level 1 to Level 5.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, trade partners and operations teams.
• Implement QC plans, test scripts, and commissioning procedures.
• Collaborate with OFCI/CFCI vendors and project staff on commissioning tasks.
• Develop and maintain commissioning schedules to meet project milestones.
