Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions seeks a Commissioning FSR within the Services Technical Operations team to deliver world-class commissioning and customer support for complex services projects. You will lead on-site and remote commissioning, ensure safety, and manage issues to closure while applying plant optimization and SME governance.

This role requires strong leadership, problem solving under deadlines, and collaboration with engineering, process and controls groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (engineering or chemistry) and a minimum of 5 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment projects or related fields.
• Working knowledge and experience of PLC & HMI/SCADA programming and troubleshooting (Rockwell, GE-IP/Emerson preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Services Water Treatment Projects are safely and successfully commissioned for custom bridge projects and extended scope projects from construction to commissioning and during operations.
• Responsible for resolving systemic issues and leading the necessary experts to a resolution.
• Use their knowledge and observations at customer sites to formulate a plan to resolve customer issues.
• Implement plant optimization techniques.
• Implement PLC/HMI/Controls optimization process for effective post commissioning project closures.
• Training/Mentoring in house and in field of company staff or partners for site visits, commissioning activities and troubleshooting specific to Veolia products and operations.
• Managing customer expectations and ensuring Veolia WTS employees maintain high standards at every site.
• Communicate with fellow services, product team members, engineering, process & controls groups to ensure issues are recorded and understood.
