Job Description

Our client is seeking to add a Senior Liability Claims Adjuster. Responsibilities include managing moderate to complex Commercial Auto and General Liability Claims across the United States. The role involves investigating claims via telephone, written correspondence, and/or personal contact with claimants, attorneys, insureds, witnesses, and others with pertinent information. This position is fully remote.

• Process assigned claims and determine benefits due pursuant to the client contract.
• Work proactively towards claims resolution with defense counsel and clients, while adhering to audit requirements and resolving claims in a timely manner.
• Make timely claims payments and adjustments; communicate claim actions/processing with claimants and clients.
• Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.
• Provide comprehensive analysis of coverage determinations.
• Prepare detailed reports, review and prepare responsive correspondence to achieve settlement.

Salary/Benefits

• $70K - $80K (based on experience) + annual bonus opportunities

Requirements

• Litigation experience required.

• NY Adjuster's License required.
