Job summary

Jobot, a national commercial GC, seeks an experienced Commercial Superintendent in Alexandria, VA, to lead on-site operations for interior construction and tenant improvements. You will supervise field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and schedule adherence on projects up to $10M in value.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in commercial construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with construction management tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent.
• Experience managing tenant interiors, commercial renovations, or retail construction projects.
• Experience overseeing projects valued up to ~$10M.
• Ability to supervise subcontractors and manage daily field operations.
• Coordinate project schedules and sequencing of work activities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Maintain jobsite safety and enforce safety standards.
• Coordinate materials, equipment and manpower on active sites.
• Prepare daily reports, field documentation and site records.
