Boyer Commercial Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site operations for complex commercial projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will drive schedules, coordinate subs, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality results on time.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years of hands-on experience supervising commercial construction, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with construction tech such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of hands-on experience supervising commercial construction projects.
• Ground-up, renovation, or tenant improvement project delivery experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety regulations.
• Proven leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, contracts and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from pre-construction through project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and daily site operations.
• Champion safety culture and ensure OSHA and company standards compliance.
• Partner with Project Manager to develop and execute project schedules.
• Conduct regular site meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure work meets plans, specs, and codes with high quality.
• Identify and resolve field challenges to keep projects on track.
• Build relationships with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trades.
• Optimize site logistics, resource allocation, and productivity.
• Mentor and develop junior superintendents and field personnel.
