Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Commercial Security Installation Technician III to join our team in Michigan. You will install, program and configure advanced security systems for enterprise clients, including door access, CCTV, and intrusion solutions, while meeting codes and project deadlines.

The role requires 2–3 years of field experience with low voltage systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead teams on multiple medium to large jobs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years in physical security or low voltage installation with medium to large projects.
• Experience with security software and IP video solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with on-site scheduling and timely equipment delivery.
• Install, program and configure systems for enterprise clients (door access, CCTV, intrustion etc.).
• Troubleshoot installations to meet codes and functionality.
• Demonstrate core values and lead Installation Team members.
• Supervise multiple technicians and manage several jobs within hours and margin tolerances.
• Drive to client sites in company vehicle to verify operation and contract compliance.
• Install electrical wiring, panels, cables, and security devices.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager.
