Job description

Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

First Citizens Equipment Finance is a full-service, vendor-centric lending/leasing business unit. FCB EF provides a wide array of lending and leasing products/solutions to customers ranging in size from small/medium businesses to enterprise entities through its affiliation/alignment with OEM equipment vendors, their distributors, resellers, and dealers.

The primary focus of this position is to establish, develop, and grow industrial dealer relationships in the manufacturing and processing equipment finance segment. These relationships will ultimately result in generating profitable transactions for new business volume. This person is the point person for the dealer and will be responsible for all aspects, including account management and closing end-user customer financing.


Responsibilities

  • New Business Development - Prospecting, qualifying, and closing new vendor programs. Develop strong business relationships with both senior management and day-to-day contacts at established and newly developed vendor customers.
  • Sales - Assist in developing new accounts, work and manage a pipeline. Negotiate transactions, deal structuring, and assist in gathering documentation and credit information
  • Account Management - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve goals. Works both externally and internally to key stakeholders to achieve business related goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Commercial Banking

High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Commercial Banking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years sales, sales support, or Client relationship management
  • Leasing Industry Knowledge - preferably in the industrial space
  • Computer literate - knowledge of SalesForce.com a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional ability to develop and cultivate strategic relationships
  • Strong presentation, organization, and time management skills
  • Works well independently and in collaborative environments.

The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $100,000 - $130,000 per year.

Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
