Coaction is building a unit focused on Commercial E&S Property. We seek experienced underwriters to develop and manage a profitable book, while maintaining strong relationships with select wholesale partners.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Home Office Underwriting, pricing, and innovation to differentiate Coaction in the market. A broker-relations background and data-driven approach are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Underwriting experience with an established book and broker relations.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business or related field.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to use data to drive decisions.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• CPCU or ARM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Account level evaluation, applying terms and price selection.
• Underwrites within program guidelines and authority.
• Collaborates with Home Office Underwriting to define parameters.
• Sells product/program advantages to wholesale partners.
• Audits distribution partners with Home Office Underwriting.
• Manages assigned books or programs for long-term profitability.
• Drives product, pricing, and service innovations for the book.
• Works with actuarial to understand trends and respond accordingly.
