Job summary

The Villages Charter School seeks an experienced Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial properties on site. You will drive day-to-day operations, financial performance, and strategic management while upholding top-tier tenant and stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities include approving maintenance programs, coordinating renovations, managing leases, and optimizing asset performance. Strong communication, budgeting, and real estate knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in real estate, real estate management, business administration, or property management preferred.
• Minimum 1–5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of commercial building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety).
• Experience with Property Management Software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact and key decision-maker for the assigned property portfolio.
• Approve maintenance programs for safety and design standards.
• Coordinate and manage marketing plans to attract and retain tenants.
• Manage tenant onboarding, leases, renewals, and terminations.
• Develop property-specific strategies to optimize asset performance and value.
• Oversee rent collection, financial transactions, and invoicing processes.
