Job summary

Structure Cast seeks a fully licensed plumber with strong commercial plumbing experience to join our modular precast construction team. The role spans our manufacturing facility and project sites to install, maintain, and inspect plumbing systems integrated into precast units.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in commercial plumbing, be proficient with DWV, hydronic, and piping systems, and read blueprints and specs. Health benefits and year-round work offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license (state-issued; Master preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of commercial plumbing experience required.
• Experience with DWV, hydronic, medical gas, or process piping is a plus.
• Ability to read commercial blueprints and plumbing schematics.
• Knowledge of IPC, UPC and local codes; able to work with diverse pipe materials.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing within precast units, including rough-in and finish work.
• Read blueprints and project specs for layouts and connections.
• Connect supply lines, DWV, sanitary sewer, storm drainage and domestic water systems.
• Coordinate with engineers and other trades to integrate plumbing into modules.
• Ensure compliance with codes; perform pressure tests and leak checks.
• Inspect systems, document workmanship and pass inspections.
• Mentor apprentices and helpers; support quality control during fabrication.
• Uphold safety policies and OSHA requirements.
