Job summary

Alexander & Schmidt seeks a Senior Insurance Loss Control Consultant to perform inspections and prepare in-depth underwriting reports for commercial buildings and operations.

You will apply knowledge across property, inland marine, CGL, workers' compensation and environmental liability to support underwriters and insureds in loss-control strategy.

The role requires strong writing, organization, and proficiency with web-based reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience with a major carrier or independent loss control work.
• Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty lines.
• Experience inspecting properties and assessing risk across sectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and prepare in-depth loss control reports for underwriting.
• Conduct risk improvement training, consulting, hazard analysis and regulatory assessments.
• Upload reports, photos and diagrams via a website or web-based systems.
