Position Summary:

Our banking client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Loan Operations SME to provide back-office expertise and operational support. This role is crucial in managing loan documentation, booking, funding, administration, and servicing during a period of stabilization. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of loan operations processes, strong accounting acumen, and the ability to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across loan booking and servicing functions within loan systems preferably FISERV Navigator Premier or comparable.

Essential Duties:

  • Support day-to-day loan operations, including documentation, booking, funding, administration, and servicing.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in accounting for loan operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and controls.
  • Assist with process planning, documentation, and mapping to strengthen operational workflows.
  • Ensure that loans are properly booked, monitored, and serviced in accordance with established standards.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support workload management and process stabilization.
  • Identify gaps in current practices and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Act as a back-office expert to provide operational support and guidance to the team.

Qualifications:

  • 10 - 15+ years of experience leading in loan operations, with expertise in documentation, booking, funding, and servicing.
  • Hands-on experience and expertise with FISERV Navigator a plus.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles related to loan operations.
  • Proven ability to map, document, and improve operational processes.
  • Prior experience supporting operational stabilization or transformation efforts is highly desirable.

Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive workloads.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $95 – $100.
