Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender in New Jersey to grow the bank's commercial loan portfolio. The role involves underwriting complex CRE/CON loans, expanding client relationships, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive banking solutions.

Ideal candidates have 7–10+ years of commercial lending experience, strong credit analysis skills, and deep knowledge of local market regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or business-related field.
Minimum of 7-10+ years of experience as a Commercial Lender.
Strong CRE and Construction loan expertise.
Local NJ market experience with potential expansion.
Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
Thorough knowledge of lending regulations.

Responsibilities

Develops new business by contacting potential customers and following up on leads; expands pipeline.
Analyzes financial data for credit worthiness and structures transactions.
Approves loans within lending authority or recommends approval to senior management.
Maintains and expands relationships with key customers and networks across regions.
Collaborates with Treasury Management, Retail Banking, Wealth Management to deliver banking solutions.
Monitors delinquencies and manages loan portfolio quality.
