Johnson Environmental Services is seeking an experienced Commercial Irrigation Technician to join our team. We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, problem-solving, and providing dependable service to our commercial clients.

We are looking for a skilled irrigation professional who can confidently diagnose issues, complete repairs, and identify opportunities to improve system performance.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of commercial irrigation maintenance and installation experience required.
• Experience reading construction plans, blueprints, and irrigation diagrams.
• Experience servicing and troubleshooting commercial irrigation systems preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation controllers, timers, smart controllers and sensors preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and ability to report clearly.
• Comfortable using smartphones and basic computer applications for reporting.
• Valid Georgia driver's license required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems at designated commercial properties.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation issues using a systematic approach.
• Repair or replace irrigation components including pipes, sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, timers, and sensors.
• Maintain knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and related wiring.
• Recommend system upgrades aligned with client needs and property objectives.
• Keep organized inventory of tools and materials to maximize efficiency.
• Follow all safety policies and keep company vehicles maintained.
• Complete accurate daily documentation including reports, estimates, and timecards.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding recommendations and completed work.
• Work independently while managing multiple service calls.
