Job summary

Circadia, a premier workplace furnishings provider, seeks an Interior Designer to lead concept-to-installation design across corporate, education, healthcare, and government spaces. You will collaborate with sales, clinicians, architects, and vendors to create functional, code-compliant, and brand-aligned environments.

Requirements include a B.Des. in Interior Design and 5+ years in commercial/workplace projects; strong AutoCAD, CET Designer, Revit, SketchUp proficiency; ADA/code knowledge;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design required.
• 5+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office; CET Designer, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Revit preferred.
• Strong knowledge of codes, ADA, and evidence-based design best practices.
• Experience specifying furniture systems and finishes; familiarity with Steelcase product lines strongly preferred.
• NCIDQ, LEED, WELL, EDAC, or similar credentials a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop furniture layouts, specifications, finishes, and coordinated documentation for order entry and installation.
• Specify furniture, seating, systems, and architectural products; prepare accurate specifications and pricing in collaboration with sales and sales support coordinators.
• Ensure designs meet codes, ADA, life safety, and relevant privacy requirements.
• Using Circadia templates, Designers produce client presentations, renderings, and 2D visuals to communicate design intent.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, clinical stakeholders, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues.
• Provide support with post-occupancy evaluations, follow-up orders, and reconfigurations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workplace trends, evidence-based design research, and relevant product innovations.
