Action AC, a NearU company in California, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician who thrives on solving mechanical puzzles and delivering reliable comfort for commercial facilities. You’ll remove and install HVAC parts, troubleshoot systems up to 50 tons, perform preventive maintenance, and educate clients on options and safety.

Qualified candidates hold a Universal EPA Certification, have 5+ years of service experience, and can lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and on ladders.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install HVAC parts and systems.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and repair commercial mechanical systems up to 50 tons.
• Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates.
• Educate customers on HVAC systems, repair options, and recommendations.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
• Build positive relationships through clear, professional communication with customers.
• Ensure all work complies with local HVAC codes and safety standards.
