DWC Mechanical is seeking an experienced Start-Up / Service Technician for our Buffalo location. You will start up and commission commercial HVAC systems, troubleshoot and service equipment, and support project closeout to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities include documenting data, coordinating with teams, and providing after-hours support when required. Applicants should have strong HVAC start-up and service experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to start-up equipment and identify deficiencies.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks.

Responsabilités

• Perform start-up and commissioning of newly installed commercial HVAC equipment and systems.
• Verify equipment installed and operating per manufacturer requirements and specs.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and correct deficiencies found during start-up.
• Verify electrical, mechanical, controls, and system operation.
• Document operating data and test equipment performance.
• Coordinate with installation teams and project personnel to resolve issues.
• Document deficiencies and corrective actions clearly for project closeout.
• Provide after-hours support for construction-project emergencies when needed.
