Job summary

Kilgore Industries in Houston, TX seeks a Commercial HVAC Service Technician with hands-on experience servicing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment, including VRF/VRV systems and AAON/Daikin gear. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain systems, read electrical schematics, interpret control diagrams, and perform preventative maintenance while delivering excellent customer service on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
• VRF/VRV service and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience with AAON and Daikin commercial HVAC equipment preferred.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and service on commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related HVAC issues.
• Troubleshoot and service VRF/VRV systems, including indoor/outdoor units and controls.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control sequences.
• Install, replace, and repair HVAC equipment and components as needed.
• Respond to emergency and after-hours service calls as required.
