Job summary

Laconia Refrigeration & New England Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technician Level 3 to service and repair commercial and residential systems across New England. The role requires diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting junior techs in the field.

This full-time position offers training, company vehicle, and opportunities for advancement within a family-owned team with strong safety and customer-care focus.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on commercial and/or residential HVAC/R experience.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.
• NH Gas Service Technician license is required for NH gas work.
• Ability to diagnose HVAC/R issues and perform repairs with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of applicable state/local codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, inspect, and maintain commercial and residential HVAC/R equipment.
• Service rooftop units, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerated cases, ice machines, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance including cleaning, filtering, coil washing, inspections, and calibration.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and complete repairs independently when appropriate.
• Provide technical guidance and field support to Level 1 and 2 technicians.
• Document labor, materials, service details, and approvals using ServiceTitan and tablet.
