Job summary

CleanSpace is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Technician in the Greater Boston area to lead troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems, including multi-zone configurations and central energy management systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead and train other technicians, with willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six years of directly related HVAC trade experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification required.
• A degree from an accredited institution may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial air conditioning and multi-zone systems.
• Develop HVAC modification plans and prepare cost estimates for renovations/remodels.
• Create preventive maintenance checklists and document maintenance activities.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Recommend system modifications to comply with codes and regulations.
• Research and select materials/equipment for installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Lead installations requiring controls programming and integration with central control systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to other technicians.
