Job summary

Air Comfort Service Group in West Babylon, NY is seeking an HVAC Lead Install Technician to perform high-quality commercial installation projects across the Greater NY Area. The role requires strong technical expertise and a focus on customer service while representing the company on-site.

You will install piping, ductwork, controls and systems; brazing, testing, evacuation and commissioning; troubleshoot issues; and maintain clear service documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of HVAC service and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial and residential HVAC systems.
• Experience with AAON, Mitsubishi, Daikin, and LG systems preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid, clean driver’s license required.
• EPA Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install refrigerant piping, ductwork, condensate drainage systems, controls and related HVAC components.
• Brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, charging refrigerant systems, and commissioning equipment to manufacturer specifications.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC equipment including split systems, VRF/VRV, water-source heat pumps, PTAC, rooftops, fan coil units and ventilation systems.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings clearly.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while working independently in the field.
