King's Insurance Staffing seeks an experienced Senior Commercial General Liability Claims Examiner to join our Connecticut claims organization. You will manage a portfolio of complex commercial casualty claims across the Connecticut region, handling premises liability, bodily injury, commercial auto, property damage and other General Liability losses.

• 5–10+ years of Commercial General Liability claims experience.
• Experience handling complex and litigated casualty claims.
• Experience with premises liability, bodily injury, commercial auto, and property damage.
• Strong coverage analysis and litigation management experience.
• Ability to direct defense counsel effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, investigation, and claims resolution skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a pending of 90-110 Commercial General Liability and Auto claims exposures through investigation, evaluation, litigation, settlement, and closure
• Review policy language and evaluate potential coverage issues on complex claims
• Conduct thorough investigations to determine liability, damages, and overall claim exposure
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves throughout the life of the claim
• Manage litigated files and partner closely with defense and coverage counsel on case strategy
• Prepare coverage correspondence and other claim-related documentation
• Evaluate complex claims and develop appropriate action plans for resolution
• Prepare and present claim recommendations when additional settlement authority is required
• Identify opportunities for early resolution and negotiate settlements when appropriate
• Maintain timely file documentation, diaries, and claim handling standards

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial General Liability Claims Examiner to join their Connecticut claims organization. This individual will manage a portfolio of complex commercial casualty claims throughout the Connecticut region, with exposure to both litigated and non-litigated matters involving premises liability, bodily injury, commercial auto, property damage, and other General Liability losses.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical claims background and be comfortable independently evaluating coverage, assessing exposure, managing litigation, and developing effective resolution strategies on complex files.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a pending of 90-110 Commercial General Liability and Auto claims exposures through investigation, evaluation, litigation, settlement, and closure
• Review policy language and evaluate potential coverage issues on complex claims

Qualifications:

Salary/Benefits:

• $100,000 – $130,000+ annual base salary, depending on experience
