The candidate should hold a J.D. from an accredited law school, possess a portable book of business, and be capable of independently managing sophisticated matters with strong client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in sophisticated finance and commercial transactions.
• Drafting and negotiating credit facilities and complex agreements.
• A portable book of business is required.
• Ability to independently manage complex matters and build trusted client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent borrowers and lenders in commercial finance and lending transactions.
• Structure, negotiate, and document complex financing transactions and commercial agreements.
• Advise clients on commercial transactions, including supply, service, and licensing agreements.
• Conduct legal due diligence and advise on transaction risks and business objectives.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to provide business-focused legal counsel.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
