Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills
• Experience with estimating processes and bid development
• Knowledge of plans, specs, and take-offs
• Visit project and pre-bid meetings to understand site conditions/scope

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate take-offs from plans and specs
• Identify and compute labor, material, and time costs for bids
• Review plans and specifications for bid viability
• Develop and assemble bid packages with estimates
• Work with estimating team to finalize pricing
• Attend pre-bid meetings to understand site conditions
