Job summary

Hatzel & Buehler Inc is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our on-site team for commercial and industrial projects. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures while reading blueprints and meeting NEC standards.

Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or with a team in Reading and Lehigh Valley locations. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of electrical experience, an apprenticeship certification, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical experience (commercial/industrial preferred).
• Apprenticeship certification.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with code requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Bend and install conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC) and pull wire efficiently.
• Install panels, switchgear, lighting systems, and controls.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify electrical issues.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
• Follow all company and jobsite safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, foreman, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
