Job Description

Danfoss is seeking a competitive Senior Sales Development Manager to lead Electrification sales within the Editron division. The ideal candidate is disciplined, decisive, detail-oriented, polished, and driven to succeed, with the ability to lead a team effectively.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for Electrification sales with EDITRON products and solutions.
  • Serve as the expert and primary contact for electrification for the DPS Sales & Marketing team.
  • Lead distribution activities including pipeline planning, qualification, customer forecasting, and building successful win plans.
  • Sell within your region through assigned accounts and sales channels.
  • Build relationships with engineers and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Collaborate with DPS sales to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Negotiate and execute commercial proposals.
  • Possess deep knowledge of Danfoss products to secure manufacturing awards.
  • Work with distribution partners and their sales teams to support business development.
  • Utilize business tools such as SAP, 1CRM, and Salesforce.
  • Host customer events like QBRs, BRMs, and industry tradeshows to promote EDITRON products.
  • Address customer and internal needs promptly and effectively.
  • Collect and consolidate product requirements for the BU product management and R&D teams.
  • Collaborate frequently with product, R&D, and production teams in the Americas.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, primarily within the Americas.
Background & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Experience in channel sales and channel partner management preferred.
  • Experience with OEM sales, especially in On-Highway and Off-Highway equipment, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge in electric drive systems, microgrids, batteries, motor control, power conversion, or electromobility is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Passion for Electrification.
